Scope of the position:

As our Shipping & Receiving Operator, you’ll be the heart of our product flow, ensuring everything from dairy flavors to advanced bioproducts makes it to the right place at the right time. If you’re organized, thrive in fast-paced environments, and enjoy working both independently and in collaboration with a great team, this is the role for you! This is a first-shift, hourly position with ample opportunity to grow within our innovative team.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Carefully prepare and organize products for shipment, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. 
• Maintain up-to-date records of shipments and receipts in a timely manner.
• Report any damages or discrepancies for smooth accounting and recordkeeping.
• Work closely with production to ensure product flow aligns with schedules.
• Safely load and unload trucks, operating a forklift with skill and precision.
• Play an essential role in maintaining an organized, clean, and safe work area.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and show a commitment to quality in line with GMP guidelines.
• Perform regular safety inspections on loads and maintain accurate documentation.
• Work in cold weather environments as needed, ensuring the safe handling and storage of products.
• Assist in inventory counts and reconciliation.

Education and/or Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of warehouse experience.
• 1-2 years of forklift experience and forklift certification

Skills & Competencies:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced food production environment with changing priorities.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members across departments
• Knowledge of logistics and ERP systems.
• Ability to read and interpret shipping and receiving documents.
• Demonstrated reliability and regular attendance.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to perform the physical requirements associated with the shipping and recieving duties, including loading and unloading materials. 
• Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment, including forklifts.
• Ability to work in cold environments as required by the position
• Ability to perform physical tasks throughout the scheduled shift.

Work Schedule:

1st Shift, 7:00 am-4:00pm 
Monday-Friday

The factory's working environment involves physical activity, adherence to strict safety and hygiene protocols, and the use of equipment and machinery. Employees may work in hot, humid, cold and noisy conditions depending on the assigned work area.

Scope of the position:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Food Production Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food manufacturing with a demonstrated ability to follow operating procedures, follow safety standards and work in a team environment. This position requires a strong understanding of various manufacturing processes and food safety standards.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Ensure all GMP, HACCP, and production procedures are followed and documented for assigned work. 
• Perform manual production tasks such as material handling and staging, batching, packaging, cleaning, and sanitizing as well as other tasks associated with natural dairy flavor manufacturing.
• Utilize a computer inventory control system.
• Efficiently perform assigned tasks and duties as assigned.
• Follow safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain a safe working environment.

Education and/or Experience:

• Minimum requirements: High school diploma or equivalent + experience in the food industry
• Preferred requirements: 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing or production environment + experience working under regulatory systems

Skills & Competencies:

• Intermediate knowledge and understanding of food safety requirements including HACCP.
• Basic understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Basic understanding of Safe Quality Food program.
• Detail oriented, responsible, self-motivated individual.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow precise instructions.
• Ability to work as a part of a team 
• Ability to manage frequent changes, unexpected delays, and respond professionally under pressure
• Ability to operate a forklift and scissor lift.

Physical Demands:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including occasional use of a ½ face respirator.

Monday-Friday

Scope of the position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Food Production Operator to join our team. The Food Production Operator is responsible for the continuing efficient operation of the fermentation and downstream equipment needed for food production. This includes preparation, sterilization, and cleaning. Perform minor maintenance and duties related to product testing, including sampling. The Food Production Operator will be able to prioritize activities with assigned scope and responsibility and strictly adhere to safety standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Responsibilities 

• Responsible for safely and effectively operating a production line or area of responsibility in a food manufacturing process. 
• Ensures that the manufacturing process is following production specifications.
• Operation of equipment to include prep, clean, operate, as well as performing minor repairs.
• Report any equipment issues or damage to your immediate supervisor.
• Communicating effectively with team members to ensure operations are in compliance with GMP, HACCP and SOPs
• Maintaining accurate records of process and clean work environment in area of responsibility to avoid contamination and cross-contamination
• Other duties as assigned

Skills & Competencies

Experience

• 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing or production environment 
• 1 year of experience in batching processes preferred.
